MetaMetric Analytics Platform
Problem
MetaMetric turns store and sales data into decisions. The product had powerful data underneath, but the interface treated every number as equally important — so users saw everything and understood nothing.
Analytics dashboards live or die on hierarchy. The challenge was to organize revenue, orders, transaction activity, sales performance and scheduling into one screen a busy operator can read in ten seconds — without dumbing the data down for analysts who go deeper.
Approach
A strict KPI hierarchy came first: headline metrics, then trends, then breakdowns on demand. Each data card carries one clear visual — line, bar or heatmap — instead of chart soup. An integrated schedule panel puts meetings and business reviews next to the numbers they discuss, and the whole screen is assembled from a reusable component library with consistent spacing, states and chart styles.
Design
Calm, light-surface data cards with a single visual per card; headline numbers with trend context on top, evidence below, detail on request. The screen is built to be scanned top-to-bottom — what happened, what's trending, what needs attention — so the operator gets the briefing and the analyst still has somewhere to dig.
Engineering
The engineering contribution here was the frontend-ready system rather than the build itself: a reusable component library with consistent spacing, interaction states and chart styles, structured so new modules stay consistent as the product grows. The file handed off clean to the client's development team, who handled implementation.
Outcome
